Boo! Spooky Habits to Ghost this Fall

Fall is officially here, which means we are surrounded by pumpkin spice lattes and summer citrus is a part of the past. The halls of every supermarket and convenience store are stocked with candy corn and pumpkin-shaped candies.

As you find yourself ‘falling’ into the motions of your school or work routine, be sure to slow down and look at the changing colors around you! We are always growing and learning.

Consider what habits might be holding you back and how you might kick them to go from trick to treat!

Here are some areas to consider:

  • SLEEP: Make sure you are setting yourself up for success each day by getting at least 7 hours of sleep. This means planning ahead for deadlines and putting your distractions away (no matter how good that new Netflix show might be!).

  • ORGANIZATION: When something is keeping you from getting ahead, make a change! This might mean packing your work bag the night before or meal prepping lunches. Maybe you need to set out your clothes at the start of the week. Whatever monster is getting in your way, take a moment to consider how you can scare them off!

  • PROCRASTINATION/AVOIDANCE: Feeling like your routine is mundane and unmotivating? Treat yourself to something new! Make time for a fun family outing or time with friends. Spice up your weekends so they aren’t always the same. This will help you stay focused rather than frightened.

We’re happy to help you figure out what habits work in your favor, and which ones don’t.
