Summer:Solved! Programs for Students to Continue EF Skill Development

The summer is the perfect time to learn and improve your executive function skills without the pressure and added stressors of school, work demands, and busy family schedules.  LifeSolved has programs for students, young adults, and adults.

Here are some of our favorites:

Parent/Adult: Parent Forums All Access Pass

By providing your student with the opportunity to work with an EF coach, you are giving them practice with lifelong skills that will benefit their academics and self-confidence. Your encouragement and accountability is essential in their journey towards new habits. Our Parent Forums All Access Pass is a way for YOU to learn strategies and tools that will empower you to best support your student’s efforts during/after coaching. Whether it is motivating your child, planning for the new school year or encouraging self-advocacy at school, you will leave our parent forums feeling more prepared to work with your student this school year. You will meet other parents, engage in meaningful conversations and learn something new!

Young Adult: College Ready or Not: Transitioning from High School to College

The transition from high school to college (or from gap year to college) is a major change for young people, and more often than not, our young people are not completely college ready when we think about executive function skills.  Our college transition group works to teach students more about the responsibilities and nuances in daily college life and help them better understand (and be better prepared for) professor expectations. In this course, students will learn and develop time management, planning and organizational strategies and systems that can be implemented to help manage their collegial responsibilities both in and outside the classroom. Students will also learn note taking strategies and improve communication and advocacy skills.

K-12: Pick Your Own Adventure

Each student is different and we want to meet your child where they are.  Customize the number of sessions and EF skills to ensure the summer is productive and successful for your child.  This is a great opportunity for your student to learn how to plan, follow through, and reflect on summer homework or summer chores.

Help your child be ready for the first day of school by signing them up for our summer programs!
