Perseverance Strategies for School and Home: Because Things Get Hard (But You’ve Got This)

Let’s be real… balancing schoolwork, home chores, and life in general feels like juggling flaming swords while riding a unicycle. But don’t worry—We’ve got your back with five simple strategies to help you persevere through it all without burning out.

1. Clean Space, Clear Mind

If your desk looks like a tornado hit it, good luck getting any work done. Keep your study area organized, or at least “organized chaos” if that’s your vibe. Same goes for your home—ditch the clutter and suddenly, life doesn’t feel so overwhelming.

2. Time Block Like a Boss

Time blocking isn’t just for CEOs—it's for anyone who wants to stay sane. Dedicate specific time slots to different tasks. School at 2 pm, laundry at 4 pm, and your “me time” at 5 pm (mandatory). Doing this sets your day up for success and eliminates stress!

3. Make a Routine (Or Pretend You Did)

Set a routine. Your brain will thank you. Start with the hard stuff in the morning (ugh, I know) and work your way down to lighter tasks. And hey, if your routine falls apart, no worries. Just pretend like you meant to take a nap, okay?

Just know, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes and need a little help, but when you set yourself up for success and keep coming back to your routines, you are more likely to accomplish your goals!
